Name: UseWUServer : 1  (indien een interne update server wordt gebruikt: 0)

goto Start > 'Services'

   'Windows Update' => disbale autostart


Metered connection(s)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\DefaultMediaCost


Take full control of folder: right-click on folder DefaultMediaCost, permissions and replace owner with an administrator account


All connections with value 2 are metered, 1 is unmetered

Windows will not update through metered connections.
