Steps to follow in case of installation error iba driver:
- Stop service (v8.x.x)
- Remove driver: pdadrv.sys
- Installing new software (v8.1x.x)
If not, another process might be locking the file. Or, for some reason, there’s an issue with ownership of the file. When checking the security properties of pdadrv.sys, it should look like this

If it is possible to delete the file, check if the problem persists when restarting the PDA service. The file C: \Windows\System32\Drivers\pdadrv.sys should appear again. Also, in an elevated command prompt, run the command sc qc Pdadrv and check the output. It should look like this :
